A family run business
Younger brother Phil Sargent is our Head barman and has worked in top members clubs and bars all over London. With over ten years bar and event management experience, Phil knows what to look for in staff and has worked with all our staff personally. His cocktail and drinks knowledge is excellent and he is very happy to spend time with you designing the perfect cocktail menu for your event. ‘Spiritual Guidance’ is a key part of the Bartenders Inc service.
Phil leads by example and is busy most nights mixing delicious cocktails for our clients and their guests. Phil’s relevant professional qualifications include: International Bartender, qualified from the Shaker Bar School, Personal Alcohol Licence Holder, Winner of Best Bar Team category at the CLASS Awards, Member of the Union of International Professional Bartenders.
Tom Sargent is responsible for the background running of the business and brings 15 years of marketing and business experience.
The Sargent Stripes
Both Phil and Tom understand that exceptional customer service is key to making Bartenders Inc the success it is. This is where the Sargent Stripes come in. The three Sargent Stripes stand for Service, Reliability and Knowledge.
Service – Bartenders Inc is above all a service company, it’s not about us, it’s all about you and the enjoyment of your guests and we never forget that. We pride ourselves on our high levels of service.
Reliability – Sounds a simple requirement but unfortunately experience has shown us that some bar staff just aren’t reliable enough to represent us. We only use staff that we know to be reliable.
Knowledge – We are passionate about cocktails and the history of drinks. We continually update our database of cocktails, currently standing at 3,500 cocktails! We want to you to experience lesser known, interesting drinks as well as popular favourites.
The Team
Phil and Tom are complemented by a band of brilliant cocktail bartenders, of which a selection of profiles can be found below. All have earnt their stripes!
When not working out in the gym or running his own online company Joe is continually updating his cocktail knowledge. Joe has 4 years cocktail Bartending experience and is a graduate of Birmingham university where he studied Business. All round nice guy Joe consistently gets high praise from our clients.
Ben has four years cocktail bartending experience and has specialist training in Premium Vodka and masterclasses – he counts himself as a ‘Vodka Snob’. Ben graduated with a degree in Law from Swansea University and has a keen interest in the history of cocktails as well as the taste! Ben is one of our Bartenders Inc bloggers and his favourite cocktail is the Cuba Libre.
Andrew has five years cocktail bartending experience, having worked at some of the best private members clubs and bars all over London. When not cocktail bartending Andrew is a model and actor, and has been appeared in ads for some of the UKs biggest brands. 
Paul is currently training in Musical Theatre at Arts Educational, Chiswick where, in his words, he is becoming a professional pretender. With three years high end cocktail experience, Paul has a wide knowledge of cocktails and service style. His service is one that is neat, precise and efficient meaning that your party can go ahead smoothly till the early hours of the morning.
A recent law graduate, Russell is one of our Sheffield based bartenders. Known for his amazing Mojito’s he’s been mixing quality cocktails for three years and has recently passed the Wine & Spirit Education Trust Advanced Certificate with a distinction. Like most Northerners, he’s always warm and friendly and is a big asset to the Bartenders Inc team.
Richard is not only a great bartender but is also an excellent event manager. He holds an International Bartenders Degree (distinction) and is a graduate of Leeds Met University where he gained a degree in Event Management. A ‘people person’ to his core, Richard is also an excellent team player and glass half full kind of guy.
With 12 years cocktail bartending experience, working in some of the best bars across London and Europe, Zoltan is one of our most experienced bartenders. You wouldn’t think he was old enough to have that much experience – Zoltan started cocktail bartending at 17! He leads bartender and cocktail masterclass training. Always well turned out, he’s a rock solid member of the team.
A graduate of the London Bar School, Dawe has been combining modelling assignments, martial arts and cocktail bartending for over four years. In what remains of his spare time, Dawe is passionate about flair bartending and has been involved in flair training within London for the last eighteen months.
